I just wanted to let you know RV6 N505PW made it's first flight on Saturday Nov. 8th. Things went according to the flight plan but I wasn't expecting the need to clear my ears on the way up to 4000 ft.  My brother was literally flying "chase" in the Citabrai as I tried to keep the speed down for the close in flight inspection.

The RV6 came in at 1042 empty with a certified 0-320 160 hp and Sensenich prop. My father and I were excited to finish it this year (except for final paint) and get the EAA Centennial Data Plate.   I think it was just as exciting as the first flight of my father's Acro Sport II in 1992.  It was just a great project and the best part was partnering with my dad and learning from him.  In addition I got to hear lots of great Navy and NWA  stories in the process.  -- Paul Weber

Here it is, painted and looking quite nice.
