Wayne Baker, Park City UT, RV-4

*

Yes, we even let folks from Utah join the Minnesota Wing!!

Wayne is a Northwest pilot and the proud owner of RV-4 N18TW.  Wayne purchased the RV-4 even though he had years and years of "heavy" time, he had never flown a light airplane!!  Thus he had to start over again and learn what fun flying is all about.  After several hours of dual in a Citabria learning the ropes of flying little airplanes (and especially the challenges of flying a tailweel), Wayne got his SEL rating and was ready to fly his newly purchased RV-4.

18TW was built in 1993 and is powered by a AEIO-360 (180 hp) with a constant speed prop.  It is a beautiful machine and has won several awards over the years.  He has made several long cross country trips and flies out of the Heber City Airport near Park City among the beautiful Wasatch Mountains of Utah.
