Paul Hove, Lake Elmo, MN
RV-7, N527RV, First flight June 2007
RV-7A (#70345) N347RV received its airworthiness
certificate on June 23, 2007. Test pilot Doug Weiler flew
its initial flight on June 26th.
The
plane flew straight but had a heavy right wing. Adjusting
the right aileron 3/32” corrected the problem and it now
flies hands off without any trim tabs. The plane has 135
hours on the tach and is an absolute dream to fly.

The
plane sports a powerful Don’s Dream Machines Lycoming
IO-360-EXP with 9.2:1 compression pistons, a phase III cam
with fuel injection, custom intake tubes and custom
Vetterman exhaust. It swings a Hartzell Blended Airfoil CS
prop. The panel hosts a Dynon D10A EFIS and D10 Engine
Monitor, a Garmin 296 GPS, ICOM A200, GTX327 Transponder,
and a Navaid two-axis autopilot. The upholstery was sewn by
Flightline interiors in Wind Lake WI. Being a Lake Elmo,
Minnesota based aircraft, it also features heated seats!

The paint scheme is by Trick Communications of Hudson WI
and was professionally shot by Pirate Air Aircraft Painting
of Cambridge MN. Go
