As a CFI and RV transition training instructor, Tom brings 20-plus years of RV building and flying experience to the table. He uses his IFR-equipped RV-7A as a trainer based out of the Crystal, MN airport.
Doug is retired from flying the B-757 at Northwest Airlines and is available for RV transition training, BFRs, and instrument competency checks in customer aircraft. He has over 19,000 hours of flight time, 4000 hours as a flight instructor and over 1200 hours in RVs included the RV4, -6, -6A, -7A, -8, -8A, 9A and -10. He has built an RV-4 and RV-7 and has conducted several initial test flights of RV aircraft.
He has a hangar at Lake Elmo Airport, just east of St. Paul, MN and is available for biennual flight reviews and instrument refresher training in owner flown aircraft.
