My RV 10 was a Florida winter project. I started it in 2004 and first flight was 2008. I have a Barrett cold air induction IO540, 260hp. My panel started out as an OP integrated system. They were unable to support their software and I had lots of hardware problems. Like both screens going black on rotation on the first flight.
Stein came to the rescue and we swapped it out for a Garmin 900X. It has worked great! It did take me a while to get used to a digital panel after 2000 hours on steam Gages.
It cruises well at 170kts, burning 13gph. It is great going from Lino Lakes to our winter home in Atlanta in 5.5 hours.
I got a ridiculously high offer to buy it from me, but my wife threatened divorce if I sold it. It is a fast comfortable IFR cross country airplane. Love it.
