I started building my RV-6 on October 29, 1993 and completed the first flight on October 28, 2007. It’s powered by a Lycoming O-320, 160 hp engine turning a Sensenich fixed pitch metal prop. The panel was built before glass cockpits became affordable and has the old standard six pack of steam guages. An EDM 700 monitors engine parameters while a Fuel Scan 750 tracks fuel usage. It has a single axis Easy Pilot auto pilot. The single nav/com radio is a Garmin 250XL. It’s delightful to fly and I’ve never regretted my choice of airplanes.
